The first phase of the Saudi natural gas distribution project is expected to be completed within the next few days, reported Al-Hayat. Natural gas will be supplied to a number of factories in Riyadh. These factories will use the natural gas as fuel instead of diesel, liquefied gas, crude oil and electricity. The Natural Gas Distribution Limited Company, which owns the project, will provide natural gas to the Electricity Generation Station number 7 and to 25 factories situated in the Industrial Estate number 2 in Riyadh via a 22 kilometer long pipeline. The project costs 30 million Saudi Riyals (eight million dollars), confirmed a company statement. — (menareport.com)
