Saudi domestic oil consumption up 3.7 percent

The local Saudi consumption of refined oil products increased to nearly two million barrels per day in 2000, a 3.7 percent increase compared with the previous year, a recent report by the Saudi Monetary Authority revealed, Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported.  

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the world’s largest oil exporter, consumed 1.95 million barrels of oil products and natural gas last year compared with 1.88 million barrels in 1999. — (menareport.com)
