The Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwee received a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to discuss establishing cooperation channels between the two chambers.
“We at the Dubai Chamber are always studying and researching new ways to develop the services we provide our members with, which currently stand at around 65,000. We also strive to learn from the experiences of Chambers worldwide in order to develop our operation methods, and to consolidate trade and commercial relations between Dubai and the rest of the world”, commented Al-Mutaiwee.
The delegation is on a visit to Dubai with the aim of learning about the new strategy and identity recently adopted by the Dubai Chamber.
“We have been able to implement a whole new strategy at out Chamber in record time” commented the General Director of the Jeddah Chamber, Saud O. Ounallah. “We were very impressed by the new identity and strategy adopted at your Chamber when we visited you four months ago, and we would very much like to cooperate with your organisation to learn from the success you have had since adopting this new strategy”, Ounallah added.
During their visit, the delegation was able to meet with various departments at the Dubai Chamber, such as the Department of Trade and Industrial development, headed by Fahad Al-Girgawi, the Department of Member’s services, headed by Atiq Juma Nassib, the Commercial Services Department, the Data Management, research, business and library services department, headed by Belaid Rettab, along with several other departments. — (menareport.com)
