The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, the non-profit international body dedicated to training, qualifying and certifying information security professionals worldwide, has established a partnership with Information Technology Security Training and Solutions - I(TS)2, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to offer information security training and certification exams to candidates in Saudi Arabia and expand into other Middle East countries over the next year.

(ISC)2 offers the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), considered the Gold Standard of certifications for management-level information security professionals worldwide, and the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) for cyber security professionals implementing security policy.

The CISSP credential provides independent and objective validation of professional experience, expertise and knowledge within the information security industry. The certification is acquired through a combination of practical work experience, formal education and a rigorous exam based on the CBK, a comprehensive compendium of information security best practices developed and maintained by (ISC)2.

Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I(TS)2 is a regional leader for security awareness, education and training. I(TS)2 Security Academy is the first facility in the Middle East that exclusively offers security courses - from basic security awareness training for executives and employees to the most advanced certification courses for security professionals. — (menareport.com)
