Sindalah Island was developed over two years with NEOM, four local partners, 60 subcontractors, and 30,000 workers. This project highlights the vision of creating new and significant destinations in the country.
The island is located in the heart of the Red Sea, five kilometers off the coast of NEOM, in the northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It spans over an area of approximately 840,000 square meters and it offers an ideal location for yacht and ship owners.
Sindalah features a group of restaurants, hotels, global facilities, and unique experiences. The island is expected to provide about 3,500 jobs and will receive about 2,400 visitors daily by 2028, which will strengthen the hospitality and tourism sectors in the Kingdom and support the economy diversification in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
“It marks a significant step in realizing the Kingdom’s tourism ambitions under Saudi Vision 2030 and reaffirms NEOM’s ability to conceive and deliver new and exciting destinations,” NEOM stated to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
