According to Al-Riyadh newspaper, the Saudi Ministry of Treasury announced that it had approved 384 construction project permits in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. This figure translates into a 51% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year. The value of the construction contacts approved in the first quarter of the current year hit SR 4.5 billion, a 57% growth compared with the same period last year.
These projects covered the following sectors: rural and municipal development, road, schools, hospitals and health, water and dams.
