ALBAWABA Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of “Humain,” a new artificial intelligence (AI) company established under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the Kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, announced the launch of Humain, a new artificial intelligence (AI) company. The company is established under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and will be focused on the development and management of AI and related technologies.

Notably, the company will be chaired by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and will focus on a wide range of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, including AI services, products, tools, next-generation data centers, AI infrastructure, cloud capabilities, and advanced AI models and solutions.

As the country continues to prioritize development and investment in artificial intelligence (AI), joining the global AI race will involve introducing one of the world’s most powerful multimodal Arabic large language models (LLMs).

According to sources, Humain will contribute to empowering and enhancing capabilities in the development and delivery of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and solutions at the local, regional, and international levels, opening new horizons for the digital economy.
