The Saudi Auto Association recently signed a 15 million Saudi Riyal (four million dollar) contract with a private tourist transportation company in Egypt to operate 500 Egyptian tour busses in Saudi Arabia during the upcoming pilgrimage season, reported Al-Watan. Egypt has made large efforts to boost the activity of Egyptian tourism and transportation companies in Arab markets following the September 11 attacks on the United States, which adversely affected incoming tourism. — (menareport.com)
