Saudi Arabia's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi held a meeting in Riyadh on March 1 with Norway's Minister of Petroleum and Energy Einar Steensnaes,
reported the Saudi embassy in Washington.
During the meeting the two representatives discussed bilateral cooperation in the area of petroleum, prospects of developing joint investments, the latest developments in the international oil market and the scope of cooperation between oil producing and oil consuming countries.
In a press statement, Minister Al-Naimi said the meeting had focused on the stability of the international oil market, and reviewed issues pertaining to oil production and demand, aspects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Norway in technology, development of Saudi industries and the Kingdom’s natural gas program. — (menareport.com)
