The $68 million Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers expansion project resulted in 186 new sea facing rooms, six new executive floors including two luxury presidential suites together with a number of new restaurants.

The expansion, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Trade Center and Mall, has been designed to accommodate a mix of guests, with in-room facilities matched to visitors needs. "Every room features online connectivity, communications and internet, complimented by exclusive guests amenities," General Manager of the Hotel, Omer Kaddouri.

The Grand Lobby joins the Hotel's new Tower wing with the existing Beach Wing. Views out to the newly landscaped garden and beach area from lobby leads guests on to three new international food and beverage venues.

Six Club Rotana executive floors provide business travelers with exclusive Club Rotana privileges, which include private check-in and checkout, private meeting facilities and a state-of-the-art business center complete with secretarial services, laptops and Internet access. The entire Hotel complex is linked by private walkway to the one million square feet Abu Dhabi Mall.

The entire project of the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers, to be completed in January 2003, will also see the addition of a new 1,250 square meter Al-Thuraya Grand Ballroom with a capacity for 1,500 guests. This new banqueting area features six new meeting rooms. A new underground private parking for 100 cars will also be built for the use of banquet and hotel guests.

Rotana currently manages 17 hotels throughout the Middle East with additional hotels and resorts under development. — (menareport.com)
