During the match that was held last week, several fans filmed “robots” resembling humans, with electrical connections, wandering suspiciously inside the corridors of the stadium and in the stands.
While some thought that these robots were, in fact, humans dressed as “robots,” it turned out that they were real “robots,” designed to storm the stadium and rattle the crowds.
It was later revealed that these robots are part of a promotional campaign for a soon-to-be-released movie, and are characters from the movie, according to Sky News Arabia.
The new film is The Creator, and is a film about a war between humans and AI machines, or robots.
