Ritchie Bros. records over $20 million in sales at latest Dubai auction

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers reported the completion of another large auction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The three-day unreserved auction attracted more than 600 bidders from 49 countries, achieving gross auction sales of more than $20 million.  

 

Over 2,600 equipment items and trucks were sold at the auction, which took place from March 8 to 10. "Buyers came from Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and the UK among other countries to bid at the auction," said Divisional Manager for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, Stephen Branch. "We also had buyers from California and New York State." 

 

The auction was held at the Company's 44-acre auction site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai - one of 29 auction sites Ritchie Bros. operates around the world. Thirteen industrial equipment auctions and four smaller agricultural auctions remain on the Ritchie Bros. auction calendar for the month of March.
