US defense adviser Richard Perle will present an overview of US policy regarding Iraq's reconstruction at a Washington conference this week, stated a press release.
The conference, to be held from June 11-12 will focus on restoring Iraq's critical infrastructure and utilities; electric power, oil, gas, and telecommunications, transportation, water, and other economic foundations. The conference will take place at the Cafritz Convention Center at The George Washington University.
Presenters will include representatives from the United Nations (UN), as well as prime contractors that will play a role in rebuilding Iraq.
