Rally Energy spudded well #33 in Egypt on September 8, 2003. The well is expected to reach a total depth of 2,348 feet to target the Gharandal and Nukhul zones, with the Dolomite zones as a secondary target. Total depth is expected to be reached within 10 days, assuming no drilling delays.

Rally Energy reported that a significantly expanded drilling program was approved this past March for the Issaran field in Egypt. At least 34 wells were planned for the next 12 months with the majority targeting the Nukhul formation.

In November 2002, Rally Energy commenced a four well development drilling program in the Issaran oilfield. The program is designed to increase production, prove up additional reserves and test improved drilling and completion techniques. — (menareport.com)
