An extensive production enhancement program is under way on Lundin Oil AB's producing Bunga Kekwa field on Block PM3 offshore Malaysia.
This enhancement program already has achieved success through the perforation of two producing wells.
This work will continue with acid stimulation of three other producing wells and drilling two more development wells on Bunga Kekwa's eastern flank.
This production enhancement program is expected to result in sustainable production levels of over 17,000 b/d of oil by the end of the first quarter of 2001 and will be limited to the capacity of production facilities. Current production levels are approximately 15,000 b/d.
