16th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge grand final to be held in Ras Al Khaimah this weekend

The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge will host its 2014 series grand final at Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday and Friday, December 11th and 12^th, 2014. Bringing together 42 teams from across the GCC states and South Africa, the final will be a 36-hole tournament played across the Tower Links and Al Hamra golf courses, and include an overnight stay in the stunning Waldorf Astoria Hotel (RAK).

The 84 players in the grand final are the winners from each of the qualifying rounds that the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge conducted in Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha (Qatar), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE, and Johannesburg in South Africa, held between April and November of this year.

Through the course of the qualifying rounds, which began in April 2014, the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge aimed to support the Noor Dubai Foundation, an organization that works towards a world free of avoidable blindness, primarily in developing countries. The aim was to assist Xerox Emirates’ goal to raise the cost of one mobile eye camp, which can provide 4,000 treatments and up to 500 surgeries for the needy. The collection towards this cause will be handed over to Noor Dubai Foundation during the grand final in RAK.
