Wattayah Motors: Volkswagen Teramont Is the Best-Selling Volkswagen in 2019

Wattayah Motors, the official Volkswagen vehicles distributor in the Sultanate, announced that the all-new Teramont is the best-selling Volkswagen in Oman so far in 2019. The Volkswagen Teramont offers the boldest and biggest design of all the Volkswagen SUV’s and features cabin that provides more space. The Teramont also offers seven seats, perfect for the entire family, together with a great driving experience.

To ensure this is the perfect family SUV, the functionality of the seven-seat layout was paramount in the Teramont’s development. An innovative 1-step folding mechanism for the second-row seats offers room for effortless third-row entry and exit, even with child seats in place, and does not compromise on space and comfort.The new Teramont offers greater space for travel, surprise, fun and adventure for families on the go, thanks to it being the largest and most powerful vehicle within the Volkswagen family. It also offers its own unique aesthetic together with precision engineering. Because the Teramont was built on Volkswagen's new MQB platform, the final result was a spacious vehicle carrying the latest Volkswagen genes. With a length of 5,037 mm, a width of 1,979 mm and a height of 1,768 mm the Teramont offers ample space for seven adults and their luggage, as well as third-row seats that are easily accessible when the seat is folded.

Safety for families is a priority in all Volkswagen vehicles, and passive safety features include the three-point seatbelts for all seats, side-curtain head-protection airbags that cover all three rows, and a reinforced safety-cage construction. From front to back, all these technologies work together to help keep families safe.
