Sharjah Islamic Bank Announces Two Million-Dirham Winners in “Millionaire Campaign” October Draw

Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has announced the names of two UAE national customers who each won AED 1 million during the electronic draw for the bank’s “Millionaire Campaign,” held on Saturday evening at Rahmania Mall in Sharjah.
The event took place in the presence of representatives from the Sharjah Department of Economic Development, along with several SIB officials and employees, in a festive atmosphere reflecting SIB’s commitment to transparency and customer trust.
Launched in July 2025, the “Millionaire Campaign” is the largest promotional initiative in the bank’s history, offering a total of over AED 20 million in prizes distributed throughout the year. The campaign forms part of SIB’s strategic vision to promote a culture of saving, encourage customers to build their financial security, and reinforce the concept of smart and sustainable saving that empowers individuals to achieve their long-term goals responsibly.
Announcing the Winners
The October draw saw teacher Aisha Mohammed win AED 1 million in the category dedicated to UAE nationals, while Abdulrahman Al Baloushi won AED 1 million in the general category open to all customers. The event also featured 40 additional cash prizes of up to AED 5,000, adding to the excitement and engagement among participants.
The first millionaire draw carried two inspiring human stories that reflected the campaign’s emotional impact. For Aisha Mohammed, her win coincided with World Teachers’ Day celebrations at her school, making the occasion doubly special as it symbolized both professional and personal recognition.
Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al Baloushi’s story highlighted family legacy and loyalty, his winning account was the first he ever opened, following his father’s advice, who was among SIB’s earliest customers. Al Baloushi described the moment as a continuation of “two generations of trust” between his family and SIB.

He added that the campaign has witnessed exceptional engagement since its launch in July, starting with two luxury BMW XM car draws in July and August, followed by the October millionaire draw with total prizes worth AED 2 million.
“upcoming November draw, which will feature another BMW XM, as part of the bank’s ongoing plan to engage customers across the UAE,” he noted.
Nabil Abou Alwan, explained that the campaign offers eight major AED 1 million cash prizes, awarded quarterly, four reserved for UAE nationals and four for all customers, in addition to four seasonal mega prizes worth up to AED 2 million each, coinciding with national and religious occasions.
Furthermore, the campaign includes eight BMW XM luxury cars, drawn periodically, as well as monthly cash prizes ranging between AED 500 and AED 5,000 for more than 40 winners every month, maximizing winning opportunities for participants.
He emphasized that the monthly draws provide renewed chances for more customers to win, underscoring SIB’s commitment to delivering a leading, Sharia-compliant, and inclusive banking experience that positively contributes to individuals and the national economy.
