Samsung launches the most intelligent refrigerator yet

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced the launch of the revolutionary triple cooling system refrigerator, the T9000. Boasting more than just a huge capacity of 929 Litres, the T9000 adapts to your needs allowing you to choose the temperature settings of separate compartments thanks to its CoolSelect Plus controls. 

Four pre-set optimum temperature settings offer temperatures of between two and minus nineteen degrees centigrade and can be controlled using the display panel on the left door of the refrigerator. This means that the same drawer can be used to freeze pizza one day and chill meat the next. 

Taesang Park, General Manager of Home Appliances Sales Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics explained: “As the living environment is gradually changing, the products around us are adapting to suit our needs. The T9000 is Samsung’s most intelligent refrigerator to date and brings advanced technology into the ‘heart’ of the kitchen allowing users to change the purpose of individual compartments as and when it suits, at a click of a button.” 

Optimum Freshness 

Thirteen smart sensors are positioned internally and externally to monitor climate, humidity and temperature, enabling the refrigerator to adjust its temperature in order to maintain optimum freshness through its entire capacity. During the day when the door is in frequent use and external temperature is high, the compressor increases its speed to cool down internal temperature. The compressor then operates slowly during the night when temperature is low, humidity is high, and door-use is likely to be low. 

A Plasma ion Bacteria Safe Ionizer is also located on the internal roof of the refrigerator to effectively sterilize bacteria by generating active hydrogen and oxygen ions that eliminate harmful biological contaminants. 

Big Capacity 

Complete with less partition walls and more foldable shelving and large Easy Big Door Guards, the wide open plan of the upper levels allows you to store larger items without having to move contents around to find space, whether it be an entire birthday cake or large cartoons of juice. Additionally the crisper compartment, which is located at counter height to reduce the need to bend down, provides the perfect temperature to keep fruit and vegetables fresh with less risk of odor mix.
