Samsung host workshop for content developers

Samsung Electronics Levant, global leader and award winner in innovation and digital appliances, recently hosted a workshop on Samsung’s Smart TVs at the Amman Intercontinental Hotel. 

The workshop aimed at highlighting to the content developers the latest line-up of Smart TV’s Samsung has introduced to the market last May, and encourage them to develop applications for the consumers in the region. Allowing the participants to experience the TV’s smart content, and interact with its superior features. 

During the workshop, the organizers showcased Samsung’s smart TVs amazing viewing experience through its ultra thin frame and 3D effects, in addition to a world of internet connected entertainment, easy movie search, Internet surfing, discover “Samsung applications”, smart Hub, and chat and social networking connections such as facebook, twitter and skype. 

Mr. Sang Sok Roh, Samsung Electronics Levant President, commented on the workshop, “Samsung’s keenness on hosting such activities stems from our belief in promoting the latest smart technologies from Samsung to local businesses and developers.” He also added, “We encourage content developers to develop content and applications that will enhance the consumer’s smart living with interactive applications that accommodate to their needs.” 

At the end of the workshop, the participants thanked Samsung for this initiative, and expressed their interest in working with Samsung on developing applications geared for the Middle Eastern consumer.
