RAK Ceramics lines up latest designs and collections for Big 5 Exhibition 2014

RAK Ceramics, the world's largest manufacturer of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware, will be participating at the Big 5 International Building & Construction Show slated for November 17 to 20, 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre with an impressive display of cutting-edge products.

As the premier construction products exhibition in the UAE, the Big 5 has constantly served as a platform for RAK Ceramics to assert its market leadership and showcase its full product range. The 1.5m x 3m Maximus Mega Slab will headline RAK Ceramics’ offerings at Stand No. A181 of the Big 5 venue Sheikh Rashid Hall. The company will also exhibit its 2014 collection featuring the additions to its Wood Art Collection, Cement Collection, Stone Collection and Metallic Collection that are known for its exquisite designs along with Elegance range of boutique tiles. Furthermore, the popular bathware offerings Opulence, Elena, Metropolitan, Harmony and Infinity will also be on show, as will its range of water-saving KLUDI RAK faucets.

 “The unveiling of Maximus Mega Slab tile reveals the sophisticated production methods we employ at RAK Ceramics” said Abdallah Massaad. “We are the only ceramics manufacturer in the region to use advanced Continua technology that enables us to manufacture tiles of any shape and size up to 1.5m x 3m. We are looking forward to showcasing both this valuable new addition to our portfolio alongside the many other new offerings and established classics at our stand,” he added. 

RAK Ceramics will also use the platform to launch new tile sizes – 20 x 60 cm, 33 x 45 cm and 30 x 100 cm. “Today’s customers are demanding and are on constant look for new designs to fill their living space and one of the options is to introduce unique tile sizes which has led to RAK Ceramics introducing 20 x 60cm, 33 x 45 cm and 30 x 100cm tile sizes” said Massaad. “We believe that along with exclusive tile designs, new tile size adds a combined value to end-user and therefore, new tile sizes and designs will continue to evolve to meet the changing demands of consumers” he added.

This year marks the 13th consecutive year that RAK Ceramics has participated in the Big 5, with a new aspect of their participation for 2014 being a separate space at their exhibition stand titled: ‘Architect’s Delight.’ Installed specifically for the b2b segment, the allotted area will feature the company’s Surface, Lounge and Indus range that have been designed for the project sector.  Additionally, the stand will have the latest version of the RAK Smart Design touch screen device installed that will allow visitors to design their own living space using the company’s eclectic range of products quickly and very simply. 

The Big 5 takes its name from the five construction shows under one roof: building, water technology & environment, air conditioning & refrigeration, cleaning & maintenance and glass & metal. The exhibition brings together architects, civil engineers, interior designers, contractors and developers in what is the Arabian Gulf’s largest construction trade show. The four days of networking provides ample opportunity to network and identify and source the latest products and services in the industry, with eager buyers teaming with key suppliers.
