One of the greatest achievements in Qatar’s sporting history was met with celebrations at Qatar Foundation (QF) tonight, as fans gathered at Education City to watch the national football team win the AFC Asian Cup for the first time. QF’s special screening of the tournament’s 2019 final – which saw Qatar beat Japan 3-1 in Abu Dhabi – was held at its Ceremonial Court, with members of the public joining the QF community to cheer the nation’s footballing heroes on to victory.
