Presidential Guard Running Race held at Nad Al Sheba with more than 1,300 participants

The Presidential Guard Command organised the Presidential Guard Running Race in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council at Nad Al Sheba, with more than 1,300 runners taking part, according to the event details.

The community event was held under an “Elite Challenge” competition format and featured four race distances, with categories designed for different ages and fitness levels. The organisers said the race coincided with the acceptance of recruitment applications for citizens wishing to join the Presidential Guard, with an exemption from the national service programme.

Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, and Brigadier Staff Yaqoub Yousuf bin Umair Al Ali, Deputy Commander of the Presidential Guard, presented awards to winners across the race categories, according to the provided information.

10 kilometres, 5 kilometres,3 kilometres, and 1 kilometre
Organisers said the event was anchored in core armed forces values—loyalty, honour, courage and professionalism—aiming to reinforce discipline, readiness and responsibility through sport.
