PMU organizes workshop on managing examination anxieties

The Department of Healthcare and Counseling at the Student Affairs Division in Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) organized a workshop for its students to groom them for stress free examination time.
University student counselor Mr. Sabri Almansi described that: “although the life of a student is full of excitement but they equally encounter numerous types of pressures and stressful time especially during their examinations. They must be prepared to balance time and focus on the right direction during such occasions.
This workshop was themed at managing the examination anxieties. It also guided the students to enhance their study skills through applying various time management tools for maximum performance. They were made to understand the many types of relaxation techniques which ease coping up with the untoward situations they face during examination period.
PMU students, majority of them from the preparatory and core programs, enjoyed their participation in this workshop. It proved helpful for them to understand various issues and factors related to managing the multiple examination techniques.
The workshop ended with a question and answer session. Participating students raised several questions and issues for suitable replies which they got from their counselor to manage them all for better rewards.
