The Pearl-Qatar Central Authority Directorate signs agreement with United Facilities Management Company to deliver five star service

The Pearl-Qatar Central Authority Directorate (TCAD), managed by Madinainova, signed an agreement with the United Facilities Management Company (UFMCO) to manage and provide key services for The Pearl-Qatar.

UFMCO will be providing a range of facilities management services to Madinainova, which manages both TCAD and The Pearl-Qatar Master Community, ensuring that The Pearl-Qatar master community assets, infrastructure and environment are maintained to the highest standards.

These services include engineering infrastructure maintenance, cleaning of roads and public areas, irrigation and landscaping, beach cleaning, maintaining fountains and water features, cleaning of the coastal waters and canals, pest control, waste collection and roads and lighting of public areas.

Abdulrahim Al Ibrahim, Director TCAD said UFMCO will ensure the continued smooth running of life on the Island for current residents, future residents and visitors.

“As our Island community grows, UFMCO will seamlessly integrate all of our Master Community services which enable The Pearl-Qatar to continue to be a five-star living experience,” Mr. Al Ibrahim said.

Francis Giani, General Manager, Master Community Management TCAD, said the agreement would make sure the public areas of The Pearl-Qatar were maintained at the highest standards.

“The Pearl-Qatar is a unique community with a pristine and safe environment. This agreement with UFMCO will enable us to continue to provide an exclusive living environment for residents and visitors,” Mr. Giani said.

Alfred Bangura, General Manager UFMCO said the company was established to cater to high end clients and act as their lead Facilities Management (FM) contractor, and to provide world class Facility Management not only for The Pearl-Qatar but for other projects in Qatar and abroad as well.

“This provides a single point of contact and taking responsibility for its clients’ property portfolio maintenance and upgrade needs,” Bangura said. “Services will include MEP engineering services, cleaning and management.”

This year UFMCO will engage in formal Service Level Agreements with clients in Qatar and at The Pearl-Qatar. It will also establish The Pearl-Qatar as a centre of FM excellence and a platform to showcase its business externally.

The Pearl-Qatar currently has more than 5,000 residents, making in Doha’s fastest growing community and the Middle East’s most glamorous address.
