OSN marks exclusive telecast of Game of Thrones Season 5 at the same minute as the US

OSN, the region’s leading pay-TV network, will bring the much-awaited fifth season of epic fantasy drama Game of Thrones at the same minute as the US exclusively to its subscribers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Starting April 13, a new episode will air every Monday at 10pm KSA on OSN First HD at the same time as in the US, but for fans who cannot wait will have the option to watch the highly anticipated new season on OSN Play and OSN On Demand at 5am, minute by minute with US audiences.

To catch up on all that’s happened in the land of Westeros so far, or to find out why the return of HBO’s most popular show to date is so eagerly awaited, all 40 episodes from seasons 1-4 are available to enjoy via OSN’s exclusive On-demand service and on OSN Play. Fans can also watch several behind-the-scenes and special features underlining OSN’s credentials as the home for HBO’s award-winning series.

Game of Thrones is based on the bestselling book series by George R.R. Martin, and set in the fantasy continents of Westeros and Essos, where summers and winters can last years. The Emmy® Award-winning drama series returns in April with an all-new season of duplicity and treachery, nobility and honour, conquest and triumph. Several compelling storylines will play out in the new season, beginning with a power vacuum that protagonists across Westeros and Essos look to fill.

The return cast includes: Peter Dinklage (Emmy® for this role), Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Kit Harington, Diana Rigg, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and others. 

There’s plenty to look forward to this season, with R.R. Martin, claiming that there will be many surprises along the way. “People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy,” he told fans at the Writers Guild West Awards.
