Oryx Rotana Hotel invites you for an unforgettable culinary journey lead by the Spanish chef Agustín Martínez Carvajal. From May 3 -14, Chef Agustín will be presenting the newest culinary trend from the Mediterranean sea and his passion for the Spanish cuisine at Oryx Rotana’s restaurants, The Cellar and Choices.

 “We are honoured to have another guest chef bring excitement to our selected outlets.,” said Lana Jwainat, Director of Marketing & Communications, Oryx Rotana Hotel.  “During the last quarter of 2015, we had also executed a successful Spanish food festival with the celebrity chef Angel Zapata. We look forward to offering another Mediterranean experience to our guests which will bring essence to Oryx Rotana’s ambience.”

Chef Agustín Martínez Carvajal is well known for his experiences in Spain, Sardinia and New York and has worked in best hotel chains and Michelin star restaurants in the Basque Country. Currently managing his own culinary consultant company, he gives cooking classes to professional chefs and collaborates with “Grupo Iruña”, the biggest catering company in the Basque country. Chef Agustín is an experienced gourmet kitchen services VIP international chef with strong creativity and teaching skills. He is always passionate about regenerating, fresh and innovative to achieve successful outcomes.

Spanish Promotion at The Cellar will feature their promotions with a Spanish touch such as the daily lunch, Tapas Galore every Tuesday and Saturday night, Pintxos Night every Wednesday and TapBrunch every Friday. In addition to these promotions, there will be a daily ‘dish of the day’ and a cooking class every Saturday courtesy of our guest chef. Choices, the all-day dining restaurant, will also host a Spanish Friday Brunch featuring chef Agustin.

Furthermore, guests can participate in the social media competition where they can get a chance to win a flight ticket for two people.

The Cellar, located on the ground floor of Oryx Rotana hotel, serves lunch and dinner from 12:00PM – Midnight, seven days a week. Choices, located on the second floor, serves up a superb buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to an à la carte menu and daily Theme Nights.
