Oryx Rotana holds three swimming camps to cool off this summer
Oryx Rotana, the five-star luxury business hotel in Doha, held three summer swimming camps designated for kids. Scheduled from July 17, 2016 to August 25, 2016, the camps created a fun-filled ambiance and enabled the kids to showcase their talents. They enjoyed the hot summer days by utilising the hotel’s fully equipped facilities.
The first swimming camp kicked off on 17th of July and ended on 28th of July, while the second one started on 31st of July and ended on 11th of August. The third camp started on 14th of August and ended on 25th of August.
All three swimming camps witnessed a high turnover; kids were divided into groups of 16. They were offered 10 training sessions with each session being held for duration of 75 minutes. The kids mastered several swimming skills and techniques, which included free style, forward, back swimming and butterfly.
On this occasion, Lana Jwainat, Director of Marketing and Communications at Oryx Rotana said: “Through the swimming camps, we sought to create a fun-filled atmosphere for kids during the hot summer days that offered them an unforgettable experience and also helped them master swimming skills."
“Doha has witnessed a good number of activities during this summer at Oryx Rotana. We also initiated several distinctive themes to cool off the heat for the summer days. This ended with children having fun, as they were taught swimming skills by certified instructors in this field," she concluded.
