Orange Jordan sponsors Jordan Engineers Association’s “Women Engineers and Entrepreneurs” conference

Orange Jordan recently extended its support of a conference held by the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) entitled “Women Engineers and Entrepreneurship.” held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya Bint El Hassan. The two-day event, which took place on May 8 and 9, hosted a series of panels led by a group of experts focusing on a variety of topics related to engineering and entrepreneurship.

Targeting organizations within Jordan that support entrepreneurship, especially in the case of women engineers, the conference had as one of its main goals the intensification and heightening of efforts made by these organizations to empower women and embolden their aspirations by providing them with the necessary tools and resources. Aiming to increase overall competitiveness and efficiency within the industry in both local and international markets, the conference also sought to renew sustainability projects, which will contribute to the development of the national economy and accelerate penetration of local entrepreneurs into the global competition.

Orange Jordan was an active participant in the “Women Engineers and Entrepreneurship” conference’s wide variety of topics, which included the national efforts being made to assist Jordanian women engineers, technical competencies and scientific knowledge in entrepreneurship, creative thinking and transformation of ideas into projects, mentorship and media access, and the impact of technology on entrepreneurship, among others.
