Orange Jordan launches "Orange Travel" application to keep track of international roaming

Orange Jordan launched “Orange Travel” application for its Postpaid subscribers allowing them to keep track of international roaming while abroad. This newly-introduced application, which is provided exclusively by Orange Jordan, reiterates the company’s leading position in the telecom arena. 

“Orange Travel” application gives the opportunity for Postpaid subscribers to identify the cost incurred of international roaming to and from any country they travel to around the world in real time, enabling them to choose the best network that suits their needs. In addition, it provides subscribers with a usage limit feature enabling them to preset the consumption of the outgoing minutes, incoming minutes, number of text messages (SMS) and the usage of Internet service (MB). The subscriber in this service receives a notification message alert when the preset limit amount is consumed. 

Roaming Unit Manager at Orange Jordan Anwar Hamdan stated that the "Orange Travel" has been developed stemming from the company’s belief in providing such an application that aims to assist its subscribers in managing their expenditure level while traveling, allowing them to enjoy their trip with ease and comfort without worrying about the cost resulting from using their phone services outside the Kingdom. He went on saying that this step enhances Orange’s leading position in the Jordanian market through providing all that is new in the world of digital telecommunications.

To ensure downloading the application on most cellular devices, Orange Jordan has designed the application of "Orange Travel" to work on the most commonly used mobile operating systems in the world; the Android and Blackberry.
