ALBAWABA - The United States agreed to lift sanctions imposed on Iran's fuel sector during its last proposal sent to Tehran, Tasnim news agency reported Monday.
Tasnim said, citing a source close to the Iran delegation, that Washington has agreed in its new text to lift the oil sanctions during the negotiations. However, Iran commits to its opinion that the U.S. should remove all sanctions on Tehran.
In response, Tehran delivered to Washington, via Pakistani mediator, a new 14-point text to end the war.
A Pakistani source announced Monday that Islamabad sent a new edited proposal by Iran to the United States yesterday evening with the intention of reaching a final deal to end the war.
According to Reuters, talks between the two sides appeared to remain stalled, and tension is rising with fears that war would resume, especially after U.S. President Donald Trump's posts on Truth Social.
