Orange Jordan the Main Sponsor of Amman Citadel Festival

Orange Jordan announced partnering with Friends of Jordan Festival to sponsor the Amman Citadel Festival. The announcement was made at a joint press conference attended by local and regional media representatives as well as online activists.
“Our sponsorship for this event stems from our awareness of the impactful opportunities it provides for cultural exchange. To us, the festival presents unmatched opportunities for placing Jordan on the international map of culture, while it also exposes members of the Jordanian community to local, regional and international music sounds that may inspire them,” said Jordan Jean-Francois Thomas, CEO of OrangeJordan.
With names like renowned Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, the Choir of London, the Palestine Youth Orchestra, Marcel Khalife, Al Mayadine Ensemble, Arab Idol star Mohammad Assaf, Lina Hijazi and Hani Mitwasi, making up the event’s vibrant agenda, the Amman Citadel Festival will also serve to promote Jordan as an ideal touristic destination that is both open and inviting to diversity.
Orange Jordan has always played an instrumental role in steering cultural development forward for Jordan, a cause it contributes to by lending its support to events like this one. In the past it had sponsored key musical events forming Jordan’s event calendar including the fourth edition of the Bands Across Borders (BAB) concert. It has also hosted concerts that bring local and international musical expression together on stage, including a concert held last June featuring its Youth Ambassador Hani Mitwasi and the Flamenco Dance Troup from Spain.
