Ooredoo sponsors open day for Egyptians in Kuwait
Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, has sponsored the Egyptian Embassy’s open day that took place on Friday 25 December 2015 at Al Surrah Sports Arena, which belongs to the Public Authority of Youth and Sports. Excellency Mr. Yasser Atef, the Egyptian Ambassador in Kuwait was present at the event.
In support of the event, Ooredoo Kuwait has provided exclusive offers on prepaid lines as well as postpaid packages. Also, Ooredoo’s representatives were able to interact with the attendees and distributed gifts through the company's booth, from which the staff have answered all questions about the company’s products and services.
The event was attended by Captain Ahmad Nakhla, the former Egyptian National Team star; Nakhla was also a key player in Al Ahli Sporting Club, El Mokawloon El Arab Sporting Club, Al Mahalla Sporting Club and Ghazl Shebeen Sporting Club. The event included a number of entertaining segments such as authentic skirt and pony traditional dance, which are considered a celebratory Egyptian ritual.
In addition to the traditional amusing segments, the open day included music, games, competitions, children fun program, and a raffle draw. Also there was a friendly football matches between the Egyptian football star and former members of the diplomatic mission in Kuwait
