Ooredoo Kuwait Participates in the Fourth Edition of “Watheefti” Career Fair to Empower and Develop National Talent

Ooredoo Kuwait, the leading telecommunications and advanced digital solutions provider, took part in the fourth edition of “Watheefti” Career Fair — Kuwait’s largest employment exhibition — as part of its continued commitment to supporting national talent and empowering young Kuwaitis to enter the workforce in an inspiring, innovative environment.
The event was inaugurated under the patronage and presence of H.E. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and witnessed strong participation from government entities as well as leading private and national companies.

Ooredoo’s participation — which extended over three days — aligns with the company’s strategic focus on human capital development and its efforts to reinforce its position as an employer of choice in the Kuwaiti market. The company remains dedicated to taking part in annual career fairs to build direct connections with ambitious young Kuwaitis and provide them with insight into the dynamic opportunities within Ooredoo.

In line with its support for the “New Kuwait 2035” Vision, Ooredoo reaffirmed its commitment to creating future career opportunities that empower youth to lead the digital transformation and contribute to building a knowledge- and technology-based national economy.
Ooredoo’s participation in “Watheefti 2025” aimed to achieve several key objectives, including:

•    Enhancing direct communication with national professionals through personal interviews and interactive workshops introducing available career development opportunities.
•    Developing advanced training programs to support young Kuwaitis of both genders in sharpening their creative and organizational skills, in collaboration with leading educational institutions.
•    Investing in young national leaders through specialized leadership and strategic management programs delivered by international experts.

This participation builds on Ooredoo’s long-standing initiatives in human capital development, which include sponsoring various career fairs and engaging in university events to connect with students and graduates, helping them navigate their professional paths.
Commenting on the occasion, Eisa Al-Beshair, Senior Director of Human Resources at Ooredoo Kuwait, stated:

“We are delighted to participate in Watheefti Career Fair for the fourth consecutive year. The event serves as an ideal platform to directly engage with young Kuwaitis, introduce them to our wide range of opportunities, and inspire them to build fulfilling careers with Ooredoo. We firmly believe in the importance of investing in the development of youth and their leadership and creative skills. They are not just employees — they are the core and driving force behind our sustainable success.”

Al-Beshair added that Ooredoo’s booth at the fair served as an interactive showcase, highlighting the company’s unique employee benefits and work culture, reflecting its ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional employee experience that fosters loyalty, creativity, and continuous growth.

Ooredoo Kuwait — recognized with the “Employer of Choice” and “Best Employee Benefits Package” awards — offers a comprehensive range of benefits for its employees, including flexible working hours, remote work options, parental leave for both mothers and fathers, birthday leave, and various recreational programs.

Additional benefits include health and life insurance, free mobile lines, annual bonuses, educational support for up to four children, interest-free loans, annual travel tickets, and employee recognition days.

Al-Beshair concluded:“We make it a priority to participate in such career fairs, as they provide valuable opportunities to connect with and attract top national talent while keeping pace with the evolving dynamics of the job market. Our participation in Watheefti resulted in attracting a group of outstanding Kuwaiti professionals across various fields, and we take great pride in welcoming these promising individuals to the Ooredoo family.”

Ooredoo Kuwait reaffirmed that its participation in Watheefti reflects its vision to build an engaging, flexible, and empowering workplace for ambitious Kuwaiti youth — fostering a new generation of national leaders capable of shaping the future of telecommunications and driving Kuwait’s digital economy forward.
