OFFTEC Jordan Supplies JT International Jordan with Smart Cabinet System for Spare Parts Storage

OFFTEC Jordan - a subsidiary of OFFTEC Holding Group PLC (OHG) - recently announced its partnership with global tobacco leader; JT International Jordan. This collaboration involves the provision of a smart cabinet system by Kardex for spare parts storage at the JT International Jordan factory located in Al-Qastal. This latest partnership also underscores OFFTEC Jordan’s commitment to growing its client portfolio to include globally renowned companies and supplying them with cutting-edge technological solutions that boost their operational efficiency.
The smart cabinet system - provided by OFFTEC and manufactured by Kardex - differs from traditional storage systems thanks to its precision, consistency and speed in storing and retrieving spare parts. Its integrated system features specialized software that allows users to specify the exact location of each item for convenient access when needed. Moreover, upon inputting an item’s name into the connected computer’s software, the system automatically moves to the shelf where the required item is stored, illuminating its location for quick retrieval and eliminating the need for extensive searches. Additionally, the system enables users to monitor and track previous actions by recording user names, request dates and other details.
This partnership between OFFTEC Jordan and JT International Jordan marks a strategically significant milestone. Japan Tobacco International (JTI) places great emphasis on the accessibility of spare parts and essential materials to ensure the production of high-quality products within specified timelines, thus boosting the overall efficiency of the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations.
“JT International Jordan is dedicated to upholding global best practices and implementing solutions that guarantee the delivery of high-quality products across all our global markets,” commented General Manager of JT International Jordan, Ignacio Aguilera.
On his part, Office and Banking Division Manager at OFFTEC for Office and Banking Systems, Eng.
