Octal introduces Organizational Development Manager to advance national talent pool

Harnessing the potential of human capital and aligning its efforts to further develop the private sector, OCTAL has recently introduced an Organizational Development Manager (ODM) position at the company’s PET Complex in Salalah to oversee the advancement of Omani employees. The newly established role will also promote the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) while further developing community engagement programs.

The new Organizational Development Manager, Tarun Joshi, has been working in OCTAL since 2008 and has served a number of strategic roles including Mechanical Head and Construction Manager. With over 30 years of industry experience, he will effectively manage organizational change and enforce operational efficiencies to drive several direct and indirect benefits to the company and its growing workforce.

“In his new capacity, Joshi will work diligently to complement and reinforce OCTAL’s commitment to building the capacities of Omani employees and equipping them with the proper tools and skillsets to accelerate their career paths in this burgeoning industry,” expressed Kamal Eisa, Head of Training & Development at OCTAL. “PET packaging is a highly specialized sector and our aim is to transfer knowhow to talented Omani nationals who can be at the forefront of OCTAL’s growth and success.”
