Nuqul Group gathers employees to celebrate its 60th Anniversary

Nuqul Group celebrated its 60^th anniversary and welcomed the year 2012 with the participation of 5800 employees during a live streaming event connecting ten countries in the presence of owners and extended Nuqul family members.

The event took place at Nuqul Group’s Head Office in Amman and was broadcasted to all business units across the Group’s operating countries to include Lebanon, Morocco, Sudan, Iran, Dubai, KSA, Egypt, Algeria, and Kuwait. Welcoming all participants, Vice Chairman, Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, commended all efforts and reflected on the Group’s journey inspired by the Founder’s vision and commitment to give back to the community. Mr. Nuqul emphasized the importance of operating guided by the Group’s ethical values and corporate governance standards; and thanked all members for their valuable contribution with an eager approach to embark on the 7^th decade with a renewed brand promise under the slogan of “Growing Together”. On this occasion Nuqul Group’s museum was launched inviting all stakeholders to visit during their stay at the Head Office.

Mr. Salim Karadsheh, CEO, focused on the sustainability of Nuqul Group and the importance of the upcoming era, which will ensure the durability of all accomplishments and success. During the gathering employees with more than 25 years of service along with distinguished members were recognized totaling 57 members in Jordan and the region. The event was followed by an interactive networking gathering organized at each venue in all business units.

Celebrating 60 years of achievements, innovation and impacting surrounding communities, Nuqul Group today runs different investments and industries led by an empowered 5800 team members spanning several continents.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Elia Nuqul, founded Nuqul Brothers Company on January 1, 1952 in Jordan as a trade and import company for foodstuff. This modest operation has grown over the years to become a worldwide corporation embracing a number of ventures in the Middle East region, and has been distinguished for its emphasis on ethical business practices and an appreciation for opportunity. Six years later, in 1958, Fine Hygienic Paper Company was established and soon became the region’s flagship brand for hygienic paper products.
