Nbo Continues To Drive Digitization Strategy With Card Payment Terminals at Airport Vending Machines
It’s the latest phase of NBO’s digitization strategy, as the bank continues to drive innovation in the sector and help guide the Sultanate through its digital transformation.

Marking another breakthrough in cashless payments, National Bank of Oman (NBO), in partnership with food and beverage service provider BTA, has installed integrated card payment terminals with electronic self-service vending machines at Muscat International Airport.
Customers can simply tap or insert their card to pay for snacks and drinks in seven unmanned machines, which are located throughout the airport, eliminating the inconvenience of having to get the right change or currency. It’s the latest phase of NBO’s digitization strategy, as the bank continues to drive innovation in the sector and help guide the Sultanate through its digital transformation.
