Moda Mall hosts Majlis al Nasik photography competition themed My country through My lens

MODA Mall, the Kingdom’s ultra-exclusive shopping destination, located on the ground floor of the Bahrain World Trade Center, in collaboration with Majlis Al Nasik, a group dedicated to support Bahraini youth, was proud to host a unique week-long photography competition themed: “My country through my Lens’. The competition which was inaugurated on Thursday, 10^th May at MODA Mall’s Jewellery Court, is scheduled to be held until 17^th May 2012.

Held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, the public prosecutor and honorary president of Majlis Al-Nasik, the competition and photo gallery was unveiled by Her Excellency Dr Fatima Al Balooshi, Minister of Social Development during a special ceremony which was attended by distinguished guests, participants and the Mall’s shoppers and visitors. The aim of this competition is to bring together talented photographers from around the Kingdom, both young and old, to immortalise Bahrain’s beautiful desert and coastline landscapes, its attractive landmarks and its tourist attractions.

As part of the competition, MODA Mall shoppers and visitors will have the opportunity to evaluate the photographs on display and cast their vote for their favourite photograph. The three entries that receive the highest number of votes will be awarded MODA Mall Gift Vouchers worth BD 100 each, which can be redeemed at any of the Mall’s premium retail outlets, in addition to other prizes.

During the week, shoppers and visitors will be entertained with traditional Arabic instrumental music and treated to traditional Arabic coffee and tea. A variety of souvenirs for shoppers to purchase will be on display throughout the week.
