As a leading financial institution, Mashreq continues to be recognized in the global banking space, winning three of the foremost industry awards in 2016; Best Retail Bank UAE, Best Digital Bank UAE and Best Customer Experience UAE. These were all conferred from The Global Banking and Finance Review which recognizes the financial institutions around the world that deliver innovative financial solutions and superior customer service. 

 The first of these prestigious awards was ‘Best Retail Bank UAE 2016’ received by Mashreq’s Group Head of Retail Banking, Subroto Som. This award is a reflection of Mashreq’s outstanding customer service, transaction facilities, lending, and innovation. Commenting on the award, Subroto Som, Head of Retail Banking Group at Mashreq said: “We are extremely happy to receive the ‘Best Retail Bank UAE 2016’ award from The Global Banking and Finance Review. This is a key achievement for Mashreq which proves that we deliver the best offers, services, solutions and digital banking to our customers. The second award received was ‘Best Digital Bank UAE 2016’. This came as a result of Mashreq’s continuous investment in online banking and mobile services - such as international mobile payment, Noqodi wallet, Mobile to Mobile transfer and Flash Transfer. Mashreq also recently launched v4 of their mobile banking application ‘Snapp’ combining the best in Italian design with the best in mobile banking technology.

Last but not least was the ‘Best Customer Experience UAE 2016’ award; achieved as a result of Mashreq enhancing the customer branch experience through innovations such as the region’s first fully automated branch imashreq and the roll-out of E Cube branches.
