Khalifa University hosts open day for potential students and their parents

Khalifa University will host interested high school and university students and their parents at its annual Open Day being held at its Abu Dhabi and Sharjah campuses on the 16th of April from 4:00pm till 8:00pm.
Potential students will be given the opportunity to learn about Khalifa University’s undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as, view the campuses and their facilities, meet current students, faculty and staff, learn about student life, scholarship opportunities, and receive tips on choosing a major.
In addition to meeting program faculty, students can speak to members of different university clubs and learn more about the exciting student life Khalifa University offers. There will even be presentations of student poetry, traditional dancing, and student research projects during the course of the evening.
“We were very pleased to invite potential students to our Open Day.” said Dr. Jay Noren, Khalifa University’s Provost “Our Open Day will provide students with an excellent opportunity to learn what life is like as a Khalifa University student. It will give them the chance to explore our programs, talk to our current students and faculty, and generally, get an overall impression of what their college career could be like.”
Khalifa University offers bachelor’s degrees in Computer (with optional concentration in Software Systems), Communication, Electrical and Electronic (with optional concentration in Power Systems), Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Industrial and Systems, and Biomedical Engineering, Master’s degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Information Security and International and Civil Security, in addition to a Doctorate degree program in Engineering with the option to specialize in Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear, Biomedical, Electrical & Computer, or Robotics Engineering.
Dr. Noren added “The Open Day will really showcase Khalifa University’s commitment to serving Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision, by providing Abu Dhabi, the UAE and the region with unique programs and state of the art facilities that will help to mold and shape the future generation of industry leaders”.
