Jazeera Airways today announced that it has awarded the 10,000th free ticket three years after the launch of its reward program, Jazeerati. Jazeerati offers a free ticket for every 10 Jazeera Airways boarding passes used by an individual or their household within a year.

The airline’s reward program is available to all Jazeera Airways passengers departing from any of the airline’s destinations across the Middle East. Customers can collect the boarding passes in their name or in the name of immediate family members within their household. The free ticket is valid for a year from the date of issuance, and can be used towards any Jazeera Airways destination. Bookings are then made through the airline’s sales desks or by email on [email protected].

Jazeera Airways Vice President of Sales, Rafik Boghdady, said: “Our easy and simple reward program has been a success from day one, with an average of eight free tickets issued every day. Jazeerati is our way to thank all our customers who choose to fly with Jazeera Airways for business and leisure to any of our destinations.”

In 2014 alone, the airline issued 2,062 vouchers in return of boarding passes collected together by families.

The airline has a leading on-time performance in the Middle East region, with an on-time performance of 95% registered in the last quarter of 2014, against other operating airlines.

Jazeera Airways serves from Kuwait 19 popular destinations in the Middle East, including high-demand business, leisure, family, and weekend destinations such as Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut, Alexandria, Amman, Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, Sohag, Mashhad, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Cairo.

Jazeera Airways operates Airbus A320 aircraft with two class cabins comprising a Business Class and an Economy Class.  Business Class travelers get both an upgraded experience and exclusivity, starting with exclusive check-in lines, business lounge access, up to 60 kilograms in free baggage allowance, and an exclusive on-board cabin. The airline’s Economy Class offers travelers free baggage allowance of 40 kilograms and free on-board meals with a changing menu every month.

Jazeera Airways is an IATA-member airline.
