“Jaser” has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TRACCS Bahrain to support with communications services for the platform. The Jaser platform plays a key role in advancing the economy in the field of remote work in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the post-pandemic era.

The signing ceremony witnessed the attendance of Shaikha Lulwa bint Ahmed Al Khalifa – Board member MKF E Services Mrs. Saba Seyadi, Executive Director of MKF E Services, and Ms. Shereen Bushehri, Vice President – Innovation and Development and Managing Director of TRACCS Bahrain, along with other members from both entities.

The “Jaser’ platform is an initiative under the umbrella of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, as part of its endeavor to strengthen its community partnership which goes in line with the Bahrain Vision 2030, and is aimed towards empowering young people and developing their academic and practical skills. The platform was created to be the first innovative national virtual platform to highlight Bahraini skills and promote part-time jobs. The platform also aims to connect freelancers with clients under one virtual roof, which facilitates communication and entering into joint projects at any time and from anywhere. 

The presence of a national platform plays a vital role in the economy by promoting freelancing jobs, which also encourages Bahrainis to acquire new talents and enhance the level of self-reliance, in addition to advancing the economy in the field of independent work in the Kingdom. Remote work is considered the future of employment and an alternative to the traditional full-time desk job, as it provides flexibility and job opportunities for the unemployed and part-time workers. The remote working system is based on flexibility, part-time and independent jobs, and as such is adapted towards the requirements of the task at hand. This work model benefits both businesses and consumers in the labor market, while users of the platform can also enjoy greater flexibility, independence, and financial security.
