Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, has unveiled its key job openings specifically suited for UAE Nationals during its Open Day held recently at Jebel Ali DP World Wheel House in Dubai.

Organized by Imdaad’s Human Capital Team, the Open Day served as an ideal platform for Imdaad to address the limited awareness among UAE Nationals on the concept of facilities management and the career opportunities the field offers. Fresh high school graduates were specifically encouraged to join the Imdaad team for the company to be able to develop their vocation skills and provide them with quality training from the ground up.

Imdaad’s high-impact Emiratisation strategy has been serving as a model for the local facilities management sector. Its approach complements the UAE Government’s extensive efforts to enhance the scope, quality and availability of employment opportunities for its citizens. During the event Imdaad revealed that its Emiratisation program is advancing as scheduled with 63 per cent of the company’s top management executives now comprising UAE Nationals.

“Imdaad prioritizes the development of its Emirati personnel and all UAE Nationals in general in line with nationwide efforts to fortify the domestic workforce. A number of Nationals expressed keen interest in joining our team and building a solid career as facilities management professionals during our Open Day. New graduates were particularly enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of our industry and national development in general. We consider it an important responsibility to recruit and develop more Emiratis who will eventually become distinguished FM professionals and leaders and hence productive members of society,” said Jamal Lootah, CEO, Imdaad.

H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has directed the launching of ‘Absher,’ a program aimed at boosting the participation of Emiratis in the local labor market. The multi-faceted initiative aims to create over 20,000 job opportunities for Emirati graduates over the next five years. Imdaad plans to capitalize on the employment momentum started by Absher to roll out activities and initiatives such as its Open Day to attract more UAE Nationals to careers in facilities management.

Imdaad has gained a strong reputation in the region as an adopter and implementer of the latest FM technologies and practices. The company acquires eco-friendly equipment and prioritizes sustainability across all its operations. It also conducts recycling training for its clients, corporate partners and staff, in addition to providing free recycling bins in certain projects where it handles waste management and collection service.
