IHG cluster hotels in Jordan participate in World Environment Day

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) hotels in Jordan participate annually in the renowned World Environment Day, which takes place on June 5^th of every year. Each hotel held a special activity to commemorate that day and to show their care for the environment.

InterContinental Aqaba Resort’s World Environment Day activities were part of the famous Blue Flag program. The resort’s colleagues gathered at the Thagher School in Aqaba, where they planted a tree at the entrance of the school, cleaned the schoolyard, as well as painted the school hall.

Crowne Plaza Amman’s colleagues were also eager to do their part for the environment by cleaning up some outdoor areas at the hotel, while Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea colleagues went down to the Dead Sea beach for a clean-up activity.
