IHG® employees Celebrate Service Week with an Inter-Hotel Sports Day!
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world’s leading hotel companies hosted its first ever Inter-Hotel Sports Day in the UAE to mark the Group’s Celebrate Service Week. Now in its seventh year, the week was created to acknowledge that the success of any hotel, brand or Hotel Company is built on the quality of service that front-line teams deliver to guests.
The event took place at the Festival Arena by InterContinental® Dubai Festival City nearby Al Badia Golf Club and brought over 350 colleagues from 10 IHG hotels across Dubai and Abu Dhabi together for a day of exciting activities. Colleagues participated in fun-filled games and competed against each other in a friendly match of tug of war, a bed making competition, a pillow case race, an egg and spoon race, rounds of mini golf and a waiter’s relay. Employees from InterContinental Dubai Festival City also performed a surprise flash mob to music! Crowne Plaza® Abu Dhabi were crowned the winning team of the event and were presented with a trophy.
