Huawei partipates in iftar distrubition at Ooredoo tent
A number of Huawei employees at Ooredoo Kuwait’s Technology department participated in distributing meals in Ooredoo’s iftar tent last week. The meal distrubtion was attended by the acting Cheif Operating Officer Tamer Shibl, Chief Technology Officer Hendrik Vorster, Senior Director of Customer Care Wael Sultan, Director of Corporate Communications Mijbil Alalyoub, and Senior Manager of CSR, Sponsorships and Social Media Yousef Al-Shallal. The event was also attended by the Huawei team working with Ooredoo’s technology department, led by acting account manager Tony Chen.
Earlier this month, Ooredoo announced that it will be distrbuting 17,000 iftar meals during the Holy Month of Ramadan through a distribution centre outside its head office and in its iftar tent, which which Ooredoo is running for the second consecutive year. The tent is located opposite Ooredoo’s head office on Soor Street in Kuwait City. The meal distribution drive is fully operated by Ooredoo’s volunteer program members, after the great success of the progam last year.
In addition to the Iftar distribution drive, Ooredoo is conducting several charitable events, such as visits to nursing homes, orphanages and patients at different hospitals across Kuwait to celebrate Girgia’n.
