HH Ruler of Sharjah visits du at Sharjah Career Show 2012

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, visited du's stand at the 14th National Career Show for banking and financial sector. During his visit, His Highness was briefed on the telecommunications company's extensive Emiratisation efforts. He was received by Osman Sultan, CEO, du, accompanied by Yaser Obaid, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, du and Jamal Khalifa Lootah, Senior Director, National Recruitment and Development, du among other officials from du.

du's stand (#520, Sharjah Expo Centre) at the National Career Show 2012 drew the attention of many job-seeking Emiratis on the first day. Job-seekers were encouraged to submit their resumes into du's online database, designed exclusively for UAE nationals looking to begin a career with the telecom.

Yaser Obaid, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, du, said: "It was an honour to have His Highness visit our stand. The annual Summer Training Programme gives students the chance to work for two months in select departments, and the Work Skills Programme, under the lead of the UAE National Development team, works with colleges and universities to offer students the chance to develop their technical and personal skills. du also invites students looking for work experience and internship opportunities.
