HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer meets the Australian Minister of Trade and Investment

HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs received HE Andrew Robb, Australian Minister of Trade and Investment, at the Ministry’s premises in Dubai today. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the UAE and Australia during the meeting, which was also attended by HE Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Assistant Undersecretary for International Financial Relations at MoF and Ali Hamdan Ahmed, Director of the International and Regional Financial Organisations Department at MoF.
The parties reviewed the UAE’s most notable achievements in terms of economic development and growth over the last period and its capacity to absorb a large amount of foreign investments. Key economic and trade indicators between the two countries were also discussed, as well as the latest developments in regards to negotiations on joint agreements.
