HBMeU hosts two-day Health Campaign in cooperation with Dubai Health Authority

Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU), recently organized Health Campaign at its campus in Dubai Academic City. Organized by HBMeU’s Learners Council in partnership with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the Health Campaign hosted awareness sessions on smoking, Basic Life Support (BLS) and avoiding car accidents. Learners and faculty members also enjoyed free health screenings that includes blood glucose tests, blood pressure measurement, and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations, while a blood donation campaign was also organised during the event.
Prof. Nabil Baydoun, Learners & Enterprise Development, Assistant Chancellor of HBMeU, said: “It is our mission to cultivate a genuinely conducive environment for learning and a healthy lifestyle for all learners, faculty and administrative staff of HBMeU. We are therefore fully supporting the Health Campaign jointly organized by the Learners Council and Dubai Health Authority. This initiative demonstrates the many ways wherein the university can leverage its strategic partnership with key governmental and private institutions to organize various programs that benefit the university and the community in general. We will continue to encourage learners to be more actively involved in organising similar activities, which we believe will create a major impact on their personal and professional development.”
